I understand the stress in a lockdown. It’s okay to pull my name to alleviate the stress and give off more positive energy to the dining room or social media. I am cool with it. 😁🤓
Starting from 20:30hrs tonight, we will take actions against anyone on the streets. So please go back inside and

Seven months back (ie, on 2 June 2020) I submitted my notice to leave the Police Service on 2 January 2021. Today, I leave the policing profession, very satisfied with the achievements of my teams and the contributions I have made to the agency and country.
Yes, the numbers aren’t decreasing! It’s 156 today. Facilities are being filled up! Don’t wait for a cop to come to implement public health measures. We all have a responsibility in this! Wear mask, keep safe distance, avoid gatherings and crowds, and adopt good hygiene methods.
Conducted Electrical Weapon (CEW) can only be issued to those officers who have undergone a specific training on handling and use of the weapon. In this training, the participants will be shot at to give a firsthand experience of the shock of the weapon. Getting 👉🏽 the third time
When people in public offices continuously barrage the police institution as a felonious pack, it not only erodes public confidence in the police but also demoralises the officers. That, weakens the entire system. Provide directions and ensure accountability – a better option.
Unacceptable, Minister
@MariyaDidi
!
By mocking a Maldivian citizen at a political podium you have not humiliated the retiree but made the public question the strength of your character, which is among the basic qualities expected in a minister, especially defense minister.
Disgraceful! Defence Minister
@MariyaDidi
is openly mocking Abdul Samad, who was unjustly detained by Indian immigration authorities. Is she truly representing our country, or is she simply acting as a mouthpiece for India?
We are still in the middle pandemic. This isn’t the time to organise demonstrations. So, please don’t gather in groups of more than 3 people.
We would like to ask you all to express your concerns and support in another way except gathering on the streets of Malé.
When restrictions ease, to remain safe:
Stay at least 3 feet away from others, practice good hygiene, and

as much as possible & limit visitors
A police force with an entitlement, but not empowered to tackle the current gang threat and terrorism (even after a marauding attack on tourists)! Is that the vision?
Simple approaches towards a healthy lifestyle in 2020 as we start work tomorrow:
1. Get 8hr sleep
2. Take breakfast before leaving to work
3. Walk to office
4. Take a water bottle to work & drink from it
5. Maintain posture at desk
6. Walk back to home
7. Don’t take work to home

Apparently, the voluntary retirement of an individual is a more pressing issue for the Parliament’s National Security Committee than a contentious bilateral agreement. 🤔
On 7 Feb 2012, the President resigned. It was a decision he took, after taking the country to the brink of a bloodshed. Don’t you think he would go for a new investigation of there’s any truth to his allegation?

As the Commander of C-19 Police Operation, I express my deep appreciation to all the officers (sworn & unsworn) for your dedication and commitment in enforcing rule of law and lockdown measures, and assisting the public in this crisis.
Attended a small function organised by Head of Maafannu Police, Chief Inspector Rahuma Saeed, to appreciate the service and sacrifice of her Department. She has done an outstanding job in enforcing the law & holding the ranks & files of her department in this adversity.
Ran 8.5 km around Malé (including Sinamalé Bridge) tonight. Let’s all run on the left side of the track/sidewalk and let other runners pass on the right!
Saw many users mocking a police man on social media for his physical appearance. Asthaghfirullah! What have we become, what are we becoming?
Small minds focus on individuals, not issues.
Happy Friday
From 15 June, movement permits will not be required. A big relief for many of us!
To avoid reenacting previous restrictions, adhering to public health advice. Self-compliance, self-compliance and self-compliance!!!

What’s the purpose of leaking an audio of the Chief Elections Commissioner, and that too, after mixing bits from multiple conversations, instead of submitting the audio files to a relevant authority for investigation? Is it to mislead the public and create chaos?
In the attempt to break news first, journalists and media houses are ignoring the rights of other individuals and their private grief. The regulating bodies need to step up to protect personal privacy and restrict media from placing unnecessary details on personal characteristics

As we conclude Police C-19 Operation and I‘m transferred from frontline policing, I would like to take a moment to appreciate the unwavering support and dedication of all the police officers throughout the country. You did everything to ensure safety of others. 1/2
A public health emergency has been declared on 12 March 2020 under Public Health Protection Act (Law 7/2012), and the declaration is still in effect. Read Article 34 of the Law to understand the actions that can be implemented.
Met the selfless volunteers of Sh.Narudhoo who are taking care of their community, ready to brave any odds that might come. A model of altruism!

According article 52 of Police Act, the Commissioner is answerable to the Minister, not to the President. Then how can he be removed from office for not answering the President’s phone call? Did I miss anything?
This day in 2019, I graduated. Cherishing that achievement for the mere reason that I did that against the drag of an institution, of course, with the support of family and loved ones.
The Maldives is now a premier tourism brand, an enticing symbol of hospitality, and a valuable lesson in success that inspires imitation everywhere in the world. We must accept this and not oppose those who intend to do so. Be nice and kind – that’s the Maldivian way!
This team believes that the Police cannot police the community without actively engaging with the community. (Photo taken at the official function held to celebrate 86th Police Day — 29 March 2019.)
Someone needs to figure out the cost of a 14-day full lockdown & it’s long-term benefit.
Also what are the chances for a full meltdown of the economy due to refusal for a full lockdown.
Expressing profound gratitude to Commissioner

, Deputy Commissioner Mannan, and all the officers for celebrating the conferral of my PhD, with a special lunch today at Police Mess.
The judges should start reading the text in a red box in the Intel reports. It states that the Intel reports must not be used in any stage of the trial. It’s not a piece of evidence.
