U.S. History students in Mr. Serrano’s class took a creative approach to studying the Gilded Age by collaborating on a mural. As part of this unit, each student helped design and paint a canvas representative of this time period. The individual canvases will be assembled as a larger, collective piece and displayed in their classroom. 🎨📚

ETHS’s Students Organized Against Racism (SOAR) held its annual conference in partnership with @NU_ETHS, centered on The Power of Storytelling. Through workshops and discussions, students from ETHS and area schools explored racial consciousness, identity development, and the impact of personal and collective narratives. The 2-day conference provided a space for deep reflection and courageous conversations about race, bias, and lived experiences, empowering students to challenge racism and build a more just society.

It's summit season at ETHS! 🧡💙 Student summits are day-long, in-school field trips organized by ETHS educators and students to create affirming spaces where students can build community, cultivate belonging, explore and develop their own understanding of identity, and discover pathways for healing and growth. Student summits contribute to an inclusive, antiracist school culture, where all students feel visible, heard, and valued. Participants engage in meaningful conversations, workshops, and activities that foster dialogue, understanding, and connection.

ETHS Mock Trial claimed First Place in the Bloom Trail Tournament! Mock Trial is a club in which students take on the roles of attorneys and witnesses and present both sides of a fictitious legal case. Senior Marin Ubersox was also named Best Attorney. ⚖️
