With female students succeeding in male-dominated subjects, for example computing, physics and economics, much more must be done to encourage more girls into these areas of study.

We find huge inconsistencies in how children with SEND are identified, with support highly dependent on where a pupil goes to school ⬇️

If these trends continue, the teacher recruitment gap could close for the first time since 2012.
