These two @EmpirePodUK episodes are based on the fascinating life of a German gardener who planted many of the trees, lawns & flowers that in the early 20thC turned Bangalore into one of the most beautiful garden cities in Asia. @tweeter_anita stumbled across the story during a recent trip @BlrLitFest and dived deep down a rabbit hole to research this brilliant double bill. Do give it a listen- its a wonderful discovery that has the perfect shape of a well-plotted biopic.
