@SockTiger The blue color, the short quills and head proportions. It's not as Sonic as the ones from Unleashed & Generations where the blue was darker, the quills were longer, and the proportions to his body were equal.

@hsinhsung9487 I think it's important to understand that out of all the Gym Leaders of PKMN, Unova has the most tight knit relationship. They all respect each other, tease each other, and acknowledge their strengths. Which is why the end game portion of them showing up was really cool.

@SamsProStation Why. do we keep having these 180s every freaking time. Like Ian Flynn made sure to basically canonize all of the 2010s with the Adventure Era while still staying true to BOTH. The references were to remind us that those events all happened and helped to create cohesiveness.
