My current vague plans are for books 4, 5, and 6 to work similarly; they'll cover a second phase, with its own challenges and problems and another big transition in the end. Not sure what'll happen after that, but I'll have lots of time to figure it out!

@KestrelCarrier @utav_austin It's 90k words, so about the same length as the Alex Verus books. Inheritance of Magic was 105k to 110k, which might be why this one feels slightly shorter.
