Alumni Update: Coach Cunningham went up to Oakland, CA today to watch two of his former players, Eric Thames ‘04 and Mark Canha ‘07, square off. The boys didn’t disappoint as they went a combined 4 for 7 at the plate, w/ the A’s pulling out a late inning victory over the Brewers.

This morning Bellarmine hosted the University of Clemson’s Marching Band so their 358 members could complete their final walkthroughs before the National Championship Football Game tonight at Levi Stadium. The band led by Dr. Mark Spede was amazing to watch!

Claude Cole ‘18 and his Wyoming Cowboys defeated Georgia State 38-17 in the Arizona Bowl. Claude started and had a sack, three tackles, one tackle for loss, forced an int and was at the center of a goal-line-stand at the six inch line. Go Pokes and Go Bells!

Alumni Update: Grant Vermeer ‘13 is in town training for the All-Navy Basketball Team. He played all four years while at the Naval Academy as their shooting guard and graduated in 2017. He is currently assigned to Fort Meade, Maryland. Scott Vermeer ‘82 was his son’s rebounder!!!

State T&F Update: C. Peattie ‘21 ran the 3rd fastest time in BCP history and finished 8th in the 3200 (9:09.17). Teammate N. Topper ‘21 ran the 4th fastest time in BCP history and finished 10th (9:09.87). These are the 2nd & 3rd fastest times in the US by sophomores this year!
