@NVJims No, didn't say that, but the plan is more cosmetic than ecological. BLM got stuck with these projects and does theie best to reduce the impacts, but the plan is to allow tortoises to passivly reenter the site, but they plan on surrounding it with 3 other projects.

@biostitute NRDC, with 3 other NGO's requested that this entire area become a defacto solar energy zone.

@NVJims It looks better, but no, the area will have a flux of invasive weeds, juveniles and hatchlings will be crushed, over half of the site will be bladed completely and the solar industry hates to leave vegetation. They claim it creates trip hazards for workers. No kidding.

@NVJims Yes it is definately possible, but they must drive multiple heavy vehicles on the habitat to do so. On a 5 square mile project, that is significant.

@SenCortezMasto You should have not pushed the massive solar projects on top of communities like you did. That did not make you popular and now it is swinging too far the other way.

@WLDdefense No that is called Desert Sunlight - all PV panels. This one did kill Yellow billed cuckoo.
