This month I visited St. Anne’s Church, a beautiful Hawksmoor-designed building from 1700s.
Alongside an exhibition showcasing its journey surviving fires & providing shelter during the World Wars, I learnt about the campaign for restoration and community accessibility.

Today in 1936, the British Union of Fascists led by Oswald Mosely tried to march through the largely Jewish East End of London.
They were met with around 20,000 people — Jewish, Irish & working-class — in what is now known as the Battle of Cable Street.

The UK has not stopped arming Israel as Israeli forces escalate action in Lebanon & refuse to ceasefire, extending the suffering of innocents.
