Hubbard’s legacy stretches back to the 50s and spans 7 decades. He arrived in Austin in 1955, and was quickly playing in a trio at the Victory Grill. He and his band the Jets were an inspiration to Clifford Antone, and regulars at the club in the early days downtown.
