As of this week, I am joining the Committee on Security and Defence of the EP. My agenda? Investment in defence, European defence union, military mobility, defence industry support & protection of critical infrastructure. Looking fwd to serving in the name of our land and people.

Cohesion policy is vital for municipalities lacking investment. We want to preserve it but the actual payments in the EU are merely 6.4%. Our priority is to make investment flow faster. Glad to have discussed that challenge with @RaffaeleFitto during today's @EP_Regional meeting.

Trucks waiting at internal European borders require solution at EU level. I have crossed the continent by truck more than once and I know what I am talking about. Together with the President of the @EP_Transport @vozemberg we will choose a random day and place to visit together.
