Here in Ollera Creek, the ADF are on the ground installing a temporary bridge to get emergency supplies in. Our focus is supporting people, and building back better with infrastructure that's more resilient for the future.

If you needed more proof the Liberals still don't value TAFE, here it is: they just voted against our bill to make free TAFE permanent. Since this post we’ve saved TAFE from Liberal cuts, helped 600,000 Australians study for free, and now we’re making free TAFE permanent. And.

There are 140,000 fewer apprentices and trainees under the Liberals. The Liberals have cut more than $3,000,000,000 from TAFE and training since they were elected. To this Government, TAFE isn’t something to be treasured. It’s just something to be trashed.

Australians are deeply shocked by the shooting in Örebro, Sweden. Violence like this is as senseless as it is abhorrent, and our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones.

Creating opportunity for women is a matter of national interest and a driver of national success. Because when women get ahead, Australia moves forward. Ahead of International Women’s Day, we reflect on how far we’ve come and the work still ahead. In the last three years, we’ve

More tragic news from Queensland today, with police confirming a woman has died near Ingham in floodwaters. I’m thinking of the family and the community during this incredibly difficult time. We continue to work with the Queensland Government to assist, with whatever resources.

No one held back and no one left behind. As Prime Minister, I’ve worked every day to make that a reality. Giving tax cuts to everyone not just some. Cutting student debt. Making free TAFE permanent. Increasing rental assistance. Making it easier to buy a home. Labor is the

Inflation is going down. Wages are going up. Unemployment is low. After a tough few years, we’ve started 2025 with new reasons to be optimistic about the road ahead. There's more to do. We're back in Parliament to make free TAFE permanent, guarantee three days of child care
