The Rogers family is sad to announce that Kenny Rogers passed away last night at 10:25PM at the age of 81. Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family.
The Rogers family would like to thank you for the generous outpouring of love and support coming in from all over the world these past two days. It’s a beautiful reminder of the impact Kenny & his music has had & will continue to have on so many.

"We Are The World." A special experience I loved 35 years ago & think of often. The first night of recording studio tracks (1/22/85) took place at my Lion Share Recording Studio in L.A. This original sheet music belongs to Ken Kragen, who managed me then & organized the event.
This is how we will remember Joe Bonsall...always smiling. Joe and his friendliness, high-energy personality, positive outlook—and of course, that voice(!)—made this world a better place one person at a time. Our hearts and prayers go out to Joe's family & friends. -Team KR
I can't begin to wrap my head around this, but "The Gambler" was released as a single 40 years ago yesterday! I had no idea at the time what this song would do for my career, but I'm forever grateful to Don Schlitz for writing a song I never get tired of singing!

I felt like giving up a few times during my career, but kept pressing on and ended up finding more satisfaction and joy on the back side of those tough situations.

Happy December 1st! Here’s one of my first Christmas card photos with Wanda. I love this time of year… There’s something so special about getting to take a break and appreciate your time with family and friends.
Kris Kristofferson: Gifted artist, songwriter, & actor; tough as nails Veteran & boxer; helicopter pilot (who once landed a copter on Johnny Cash's lawn to get him to listen to a demo!); Rhodes scholar; genuine, empathetic & thoughtful renaissance man. May he rest in peace. -TKR

Let's remember to enjoy life's "little moments" that make up each of our days...share a laugh, encourage someone, make time to do what you love, be grateful. For me, keeping a sense of humor about everything and not taking myself too seriously really helps.
A lot of people don't know this about me, but I played tennis for 10 years, many times eight hours a day and even developed a national ranking (a surprise to me!) while I was on the road playing with Wimbledon champs. It almost became an obsession. (Part 1)

Sending prayers and all of our love to many friends and colleagues in Nashville and across Tennessee who were affected by the devastating tornadoes and storms this week. You are not alone in this!
