Our Volunteer Manager, Yvonne Atkins, and amazing volunteer @lyndagreig3 were on the panel for #EquallyValued, discussing volunteering and lived experience, including its benefits, barriers, and organisational responsibilities. Meanwhile, Communities that Care Manager Laurie Goldie enjoyed @ThePromiseScot's Oversight Board panel discussion, whilst Fundraising Manager @LUCYCCHRISTOPHE's highlight was the Fundraising Detectives session led by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. We have announced a new Themed Learning Event for Corporate Parents! This session will explore some key issues and themes that have been identified by the Care Experienced community with regards to health and access to healthcare services.

We'd like to extend a huge 'Thank you' to @JohnLewisRetail and @waitrose for donating over 200 food hampers to our Christmas Appeal. These hampers brought joy to our Care Experienced community during the festive season and into the New Year. Your support means the world! 🌎

Throughout December, our Board Chair Carmel swam a whopping 26 miles, raising vital funds for Who Cares? Scotland. We’re delighted to share that Carmel managed to raise a total of £1707.50 which helped us pull off our Care Family Christmas Dinner in style! Thank you Carmel! 💪

We'd like to kick start our Boxing Day with a massive THANK YOU! 🥰 Yesterday we hosted 100 Care Experienced people and their guests at our Care Family Christmas dinner. We would like to thank all the companies, funders and individuals who donated to our Christmas Appeal and made sure it was a festive day of connection and belonging.
