The UK has joined Russia, Belarus, and Turkey as the only countries in Europe where you can’t protest peacefully. This marks a new low for the UK and British democracy. This could have been prevented if Labour grew a spine and opposed the Tories.

@darrengrimes_ That’s not true, Darren. AstraZeneca chose Ireland because they need easy access to pharmaceutical supplies from the EU. Because of Brexit, these supplies are harder to import now. It doesn’t matter if the UK reduces taxes, companies still have to deal with Brexit red tape.

Immigration to the UK rose to a record high of 606,000 in 2022. Britain spent more than 7 years complaining about immigration from the EU, making EU citizens feel unwelcome and forcing them to go home, only to replace them with even higher numbers from the rest of the world.

“Not the Brexit I wanted” so if Brexit wasn’t about cutting immigration, then what was it about? It’s almost as if people didn’t know what they were voting for 🤔 #Brexitrecession #Brexit

Boris Johnson destroyed Britain. He made us the laughing stock of the world, contributed to Britain having one of the highest COVID death rates in the world, and oversaw a disastrous Brexit deal which has ruined Britain. He will not be missed.

The man who caused Brexit, and is the reason why Britain is such a mess today, is back in politics To make matters worse, David Cameron is no longer an MP, so he’ll be rushed into the House of Lords as an unelected peer Enough is enough. We need a General Election!

@Keir_Starmer Yes, the Tories are holding us back. But Brexit is holding us back even more. Nearly every economist states that Brexit is the root cause of Britain’s problems, and it’s why our economy is still below pre-COVID levels. When will you address the Brexit elephant in the room?

@guardian Hi @guardian , please correct this headline. These roaming charges are because the UK left the EU. All EU members states have no roaming charges. This is not the EU’s fault - this is Britain’s.

This chaos started with the Brexit vote in 2016. Not Liz Truss. Another Tory leader won’t solve this mess. It’s time we address the root cause of problems in British politics - Brexit. #LiztrussResign #LizTrussPM #Brexit

Jewish schools, shops and restaurants are being closed. The far-right are spreading fear and hatred about Muslims in Europe. This is unacceptable. The Israel-Palestine conflict may be a contentious issue, but that’s no excuse for innocent people to be attacked or abused

The UK has rejoined the EU’s Horizon Europe, the world’s largest science & research programme This is a huge relief for British scientists who rely on funding to deliver life-changing research Slowly, but surely, the UK is rebuilding our relations with Europe again 🇬🇧🇪🇺
