@HonestEVs @Tesla @Tesla_AI @aelluswamy Some of your issues are the cameras too close to the windshield. Small obstructions can blind them, sitting back you can see fine. They must move cameras back. It will not be safe enough like they are.

@exmun76 @mpgenchau @SawyerMerritt The front cameras are too close to the windshield and bugs, bird poop, slush blinds suddenly. A driver sitting back can see to safely drive - optimus.

@Teslaconomics Unsupervised not safer with front facing cameras too close to windshield and easily blinded by common situations. Driver sitting back can safely see to drive.

@farzyness @elonmusk For those of us in the north the cameras are blinded often when dirty slush is thrown over the front cameras. Sitting back from the windshield, the driver can see to safely drive. Not going to be safe for unsupervised like that.

@farzyness @elonmusk Offering a transfer to a newer model sounds like a great option. I'd prefer to upgrade to a newer model rather than upgrade to older model. The newer model would have the HD cameras which would be a benefit too. As well as the other enhancements in the refresh.

@DevinOlsenn There are several common issues that can blind the front facing camera instantly because they are too close to the windshield. A driver sitting back can see to drive safely. Bugs, bird poop, slush, ...

@DirtyTesLa Cameras are too close to the windshield and can be blinded suddenly in many common situations. It won't be safer than a human sitting back from the windshield when those situations occur.

@smdcapital1010 Hope they have a plan for common situations. They are too close to the windshield and bugs, bird poop, & slush can instantly blind the cameras & wiper make it worse. A person sitting back can see to safely drive.

@mikepat711 @Tesla The biggest issue is the cameras are too close to the windshield and bugs, bird poop, dirt/slush can instantly blind them. Not safer than a human sitting back from the windshield that can safely see to drive.

@listerd99 @garyblack00 @WholeMarsBlog If they don't move the front camera position back from the windshield, there will be accidents that were avoidable for common situations like bugs, bird poop, slush, etc.

@chazman @cybertruck Unsupervised FSD will not be safer than a human without moving the front cameras. They can easily be instantly blinded by bugs, bird poop, slush, leaves, etc. The bumper camera will be prone to even more issues.

@philduan @draecomino Driven thousands of FSD miles. Front facing cameras are too close to the windshield. They can easily be blinded while a driver sitting back can safely see. NEVER going to be safer than a human in certain situations.
