KURLING TOURNAMENT 🥈🥉 Year 5/6 won second and third place in the Boston schools Kurling tournament today. They showed a great effort and were thrilled to bring home a medal!

BOSTON MARKET GARDEN Today's sessions included, *research for the Lincolnshire Show gardening project (our well-being garden!) *building our dead hedge (from sticks and branches from around the garden) *planting pear trees in the orchard which were donated by Boston Council

For two weeks each term, pupils will be battling it out to win points for their houses in a range of sports fixtures. Teams from each year group will play a different sport each day. Today,Y6 girls played Benchball tournament. 1st Griffins🥇 2nd Dragons 3rd Unicorns 4th Phoenix

Our Year 3/4 Indoor Athletics team won gold 🏆 this week at the Boston & District Schools tournament. Our Year 5/6 Indoor Cricket team also won gold 🏆 this week at the Boston & District Schools tournament. Well done team! Next stop, the County finals. 🤩

In November, we took part in a @zesttheatre workshop where pupils were asked to share their thoughts and opinions on a range of topics. Some of their quotes have now been turned into works of art which are now being displayed outside the Boston Guildhall. Please visit if you can!

Y6 are learning about the circulatory system this term. To support their learning, Mrs Gaish from Boston High School brought along some pigs hearts for pupils to observe and talked to pupils about the different sections of the heart and their functions. They were fascinated!

It was lovely to finally be back at Boston Market Garden today. After we had fed the hungry chickens, we told the children about a challenge set by the Lincolnshire Show - we are going to develop an area of the garden to help people's well-being. More details to follow soon!

Let's Talk FAMILY LEARNING 😊 The aim of the weekly sessions is to learn strategies to support communication. For example, how to develop children's listening and concentration, how and when we ask our children questions, and how to be an active listener.

A team of Year 5/6 pupils took part in the Boston schools boccia tournament this week, and won! 🏆🥇 Well done team! Boccia is a precision ball sport which is similar to bowls and petanque. Athletes have to throw or kick the ball to get it as close as they can to a 'jack' ball.

MUSIC AMBASSADORS 🎼🎹 Meet our new music ambassadors. 👋 They support teachers in the weekly singing assembly, handing out stickers and promoting inclusion and engagement in music and the arts.

TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT 🏓🥇🥈🥉 Well done to the Y5/6 children who took part in the table tennis tournament at Kirton Middlecott yesterday. GIRLS team - 1st and 3rd place BOYS team - 2nd and 3rd place

Thank you to the staff at The Collection in Lincoln (and @LincolnCastle ) for hosting a great day learning about the Vikings.Children studied artefacts from the Viking era to work out what life would have been like in those times. They had a wonderful time and learnt so much!

Animals visit EYFS 🐍🦎🐢🕷 Yesterday, pupils in Reception met a tarantula, chameleon, skunk, bearded dragon, tortoise and an ENORMOUS snake. They were all so brave and curious about the different animals. Thank you for such an informative visit Animals UK 😍
