Chatham Town wow what a day yesterday was for everyone connected with the club. Iโm so proud to be the coach of this team and for us to achieve back to back promotions is very special but we ainโt stopping here. CHAMPIONS ๐

Where a lot of non league managers go wrong - spend all this money on players then donโt invest in a proper coach. Players lose motivation as sessions are not challenging / progressive. Managers get frustrated thinking why Is not working there on ยฃยฃยฃ. Coaching is KEY.

I said it when I was there and I will say it now Iโve left. The level of player coming though at Charltons academy is one of the best in the country. They have players in their system that will play internationally and in the premier league.

Wonder how many coaches would of said Mahrez and foden were to lightweight as kids. Gave up on them to early. Loads of players out there that was let down by BAD coaches who donโt know the level but just there own Agenda๐.

Best 3 things about non league football. 1) The challenge week in week out. People say it's a poor standard I disagree. 2) The friends I've made a long the journey, some of the dressing rooms have been incredible. 3) The volunteers - They go over and beyond for little thanks.
