The construction of the new 1,450-megawatt Cumberland Combined Cycle Plant in Middle Tennessee includes a new 500-kilovolt switchyard for improved resiliency and grid stability. The combined construction projects currently employ over 1,150 workers. 🇺🇸

In 1953, the first two hydroelectric generating units were brought online at Fort Patrick Henry Dam in Kingsport, TN. The dam continues today, supplying electricity, regulating the downstream water flow for local industries, and providing amazing recreation opportunities! #TBT

We ran a clean diesel test at our Johnsonville Combustion Turbine Plant in Humphreys Co., TN, making this the 1st US gas combustion turbine to run on renewable diesel fuel. This low-carbon equivalent reduces carbon emissions by up to 75%! Learn more 👉
