That's it for tonight,
#Toronto
! Before I sign off, I have to give a special shout out to Rexdale native
@DALANOBANTON

@Raptors
for paying homage to the 45 Kipling with his jersey number selection! Stay safe and have a good weekend everyone! ^FR🧭
We're signing off for the night folks. It's a deeply sad day for the city & we'd like to send our love to everyone affected directly or indirectly. North York station is still being bypassed, keep an eye on
@TTCnotices
for updates. I'll be back at 7am to help. Goodnight ❤️ ^KM
It’s Transit Driver Appreciation Day and we wanted to take this chance to say a heartfelt
#THANKYOU
. Even during these difficult times, our incredible operators have continued to keep Toronto moving.

Starting this week, you may notice new Subway and Streetcar Maps rolling out on subway trains. The new maps show our entire rail network, including streetcars, helping customers to make better connections. Look out for these maps the next time you ride a

Ok, I got in touch with a lead demon in the area, and it appears a ghost was taking a break near an intercom speaker and left a switch flipped - no actual possession involved. The situation should be resolved 🙃 ^RA🚀
Museum Station's new Second Exit/Entrance is now complete & opens May 31, 2024. Located at the the northern end of Queen's Park Circle, it features PRESTO-enabled gates, automatic doors, improved signage and a bike channel. Thanks for your patience during the construction!
Good morning Toronto! ^KJ logging on to help with whatever TTC issues you have today. As if Twitter is for anything other than
#Kawhiwatch
right now. Have a good one!
We’re saying farewell to the ALRV streetcar as it makes its last ride along Queen St next Monday. To celebrate this iconic piece of
#TTC
history, the last ALRV streetcars will offer free rides on Queen St between Russell Carhouse and Bathurst St from 2 PM until 5 PM on Sept 2.
The first of sixty new streetcars are taking the streets of Toronto today! Their arrival means more capacity, creating better service for all. They were produced by Alstom in Thunder Bay and are jointly funded by contributions from

Be a part of history and ride our first eBus, entering service on Monday, June 3! Catch the bus anywhere along the southbound 35 Jane route. Its first stop will be at Firgrove Cres. and Jane St. See you there!
#TTC
#BooksOnTheTransit
will be leaving specially marked books on
#TTC
vehicles 📚 starting today. Take one home and use the hashtag to let us know what you’re reading. When you’re finished reading, leave it on another vehicle for fellow commuters to enjoy! 🚇 Ride. Read. Return.
Starting August 8, the price of a physical PRESTO card is dropping to $4. You’ll also be able to pay for fares on GO Transit, UP Express and participating 905 transit systems with your interac, debit, or credit card. And later this summer, you can do the same with us! 💳
Have a good rest of the evening,
#Toronto
. Today we retired the last of the
#CLRV
streetcars after their more than 40 years of service. We hope those of you out there were able to ride or see them during their last hurrah. ^DM
We’ll be honouring Canada's fallen by bringing all TTC vehicles to a standstill for two minutes at 11 a.m. Also, today all members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans and peacekeepers can ride with one companion free of charge. For more:

Finch Station parking lots are open for business today. Residents of nearby buildings who cannot get into their condo or apartment parking lots are welcome to park in the lot with no penalty. There will be no enforcement today.
TTC is kindly asking its bus customers to board and exit from the rear door, except those who require the kneeling ramp. Payment will be by PRESTO card or PRESTO Ticket only. We are not accepting cash, TTC tickets, or tokens on buses at this time.
📢A clarification: last night some incorrect information was shared from us in error regarding the 2-hour transfer window. If your transfer expires while you are on a vehicle you do NOT have to tap until you transfer again - at that point you would be charged another fare. 1/ ^KJ
Customers do not require paper transfers at this time. Please do not approach our operators for a transfer, instead, please practice social-distancing and give everyone around you as much space as possible.
Congratulations to TTC operators Larry Hazan and Michelle Hapco on their engagement! Larry recently surprised his partner by popping the question just after she completed her training to join the TTC team. All the best to this lovely couple on their new chapter.

Every work day I pass by this corner store that sells fresh produce. Every work day I wish TTC allowed even 30 min stopovers so I can spend my grocery money here instead of no frills. Would make for a liveable commute.
