It's been a horrible time trying to be available for my mom as she struggles with the cruelty of dementia. Please forgive my limitations in this zone with you but she needs me more. I love my mom so she trumps social media. Hugs gang, love you too 💙💜☮️

As many of my friends know, I'm a runner. I daily run to and around a lake near my home, I rarely deviate from my route. Today I had 2 rather creepy guys watching then following me around the lake. They finally veered off, but it freaked me out.I hate fear, but will be more aware

I took my mom out to lunch yesterday & she drags her feet just like this..she nearly fell backwards, I had to catch her. He's going down soon in public if they don't stop putting him out there alone. It really enrages me the handlers allow this, it's crazy. He's fallen privately.

I just saw your post for the first time, my mom has dementia. It's been about 11 yrs since she was 1st diagnosed and it's brutally hard, every day harder than the 1 before. No one really understands unless they've dealt with it, not friends, SOs, aides. I'm exhausted emotionally.

My 92 yr old mom who had a stroke in early May, recovered enough to return to her ALF and is walking again with her walker. No one expected this. She had to learn to walk and swallow to return and she has. Amazing greatest generation human.
