Matt Gallagher, one of our sport coaches was recently diagnosed with MND. This morning, alongside six of our UVI students, Mr Gallagher ran the ‘extra mile’ with Kevin Sinfield as part of his 7 in 7 in 7 challenge, fundraising for My Name’5 Doddie and Matt Gallagher Foundation.
After the passing of Mr Martyn Garner earlier this year, we have erected a slate monolith in dedication to Martyn at the David Fricke Mountain Cottage. We have also renamed the Outdoor Pursuits Centre in his honour.
This year tribute was paid by the present generation of Solihull School to their school fellows of 100 years ago, in grateful thanks and sincere remembrance

So delighted that Helen, Tom & Evie joined us to mark the occasion with a ribbon cutting.
One of the rarest awards given at Solihull School is a Headmaster's Commendation. After having an aneurysm earlier this year, J4 pupil (now Thirds) Alex received a Headmaster's Commendation for showing such maturity while recovering and coming back to school bubbling with energy!
Our Head of Cricket Mr Maddy is currently in India with the England Legends Cricket Team.
