As I have said in the #COP29 opening: Now is the time to show that global cooperation is rising to the moment. The UN family is here to support. We are working closely with @UNEP and other partners across the UN system to help Parties with their new national climate plans.
.@UNEP's message at #COP29 is clear: climate crunch time is here. If done right, NDCs 3.0 can help create new jobs, resilient growth & clean air. The @UN is here to support countries deliver, and why @UNEP & @UNFCCC recommitted to work with parties to deliver ambitious plans.

In week 2 at #COP29, we can't afford an outbreak of 'you-first-ism'. We will only get this job done if all Parties step forward in parallel - bringing us closer to common ground. So let's cut the theatrics and get down to the real business. 👉
