I said goodbye to the best dog in all the universes this morning and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. He was kind and loving despite being shot by a cruel human and being afflicted by cancer. He was my literal spirit animal. Miss you WYSIWYG.

Jim was an incredible being of light who inspired everyone he touched, whether making miniatures for Morris Lessmore, telling good party stories or helping a friend out with a jigsaw. Never met a single person who didn’t get along with him.
Fuck cancer.
Last night we lost one of our favorite storytellers, Jim Hayes. Jim was a starman, an artist, disco dancer, king, loving husband and father. Jim’s loving support of All Y’all made us fearless and his countless stories brightened our days. Thank you for blowing our minds, Jim.

My grandmother raised 5 kids on her own after my grandfather had a long term affair. She got a job as a dispatcher and managed 20 men making repairs to a rural phone system. She is independent and the strongest woman I know. I have learned a lot from her.
