@JohnDiLillo The genre has ebbed and flowed. 2012-2020 profitability was an abberation we’ll probably never see again. I suspect it’s a genre which will continue to exist from here on out but not as frequently and with better-known characters emphasized more (eventually).

What if the Bayh-Celler Amendment (or something close to it) passed? Was an irl constitutional amendment that was narrowly defeated which would have seen presidential elections done by two-round voting. Could have led to a similar voting system being adopted for Congress.
