@ettingermentum What does a conservative news service developed by an 11 year old even look like lmao.

@lighttmylove it really makes you hate Elvis, she looks so young too, it just makes it all so tragic.

@ettingermentum It’s really incalculable how much better off our country would be if we never had an evangelical revival.

@theLordeEnjoyer Exactly what I did and it wasn’t that bad, enjoyed both movies thoroughly, definitely weirder watching Barbie in that mood tho lol.

@willmenaker Not a single one is an improvement lmao and some so egregiously ruin the original intention/phrasing.

@ettingermentum I really do think if he goes independent he’ll win at least like 15% of the vote.

@brookheimerbaby She’s in the most right-wing faction of the House Democrats lol, hopefully a model for that flank of the party going forward, but bleak that anyone believes she’s a progressive.

@JoePostingg I wouldn’t say “insanely hostile”. It’s very funny how self serious it is considering what CTRL + ALT + DEL was.

@RogueCreed @LanternJS Not even a question really, he was pretty obscure outside of comic fans, I mean civil war made him more popular but Avengers was always a way to put less popular characters in one book together.

@SamAdlerBell The video is a parody of people complaining about not getting into Ivy League schools and he made follow up videos making fun of the far-right for falling for it.

@USA_Polling She’s 100% in the right and the Representatives who censured her should be ashamed.

@DJBranham The movement of paternalist & isolationist Northern European immigrants or the reactionary Anglophile agrarian free traders? Hmm….

@Lost_Loyalist That post is obviously racist and not worth debating in serious terms like this.

@Kadenfarr @gavinbena Not really. All indications still point to a landslide victory for Labour (even if they won’t be winning 600 seats like Truss era polls showed) and Rishi is still deeply unpopular.

@GunnerDobbins It’s what made their comics cool in the first place when they blew up in the 60s, having flawed characters who felt more human and real than previous superheroes. Now it feels like they’re back to square one, pursuit of profit & shallow stories which people are disinterested in.

@D4hz4hn God damn that’s such perfect casting. Honestly, that would make for such a fun movie, really do hope they go for the crime syndicate. What would you think about Henry Cavill as Ultraman?.

@Jarbys_ @ComicsMeta Sucked all the fun out of Galactus, same w/ Parrallax but it was really really dumb to make him the villain anyway. I haven’t seen it since I was a kid, but remember Silver Surfer being the standout of the movie.

@Hezbolsonaro I will never stop posting against conservative Nixon myths. This is how Nixon performed in a two-man electoral match-up in 1960. He actually got a smaller percentage of the vote in 1968 but won a plurality because the conservative vote was split by a populist independent.

@JohnDiLillo The genre has ebbed and flowed. 2012-2020 profitability was an abberation we’ll probably never see again. I suspect it’s a genre which will continue to exist from here on out but not as frequently and with better-known characters emphasized more (eventually).

@USA_Polling Always thought this was caused by writers who grew up in the 60s-80s and developed an understanding of politics when presidential election maps were more fluid.

@DaelinZeppi1 @RealAlbanianPat Ai generated image of a squirrel with a guy fawkes mask bc their leader, Alvise Pérez, likes V for Vendetta & Anonymous. Pérez is also a far-right “anti-deep state” social media personality who used to be in Cs, and the LibDems when he lived in England.

@justincbzz No, I’m 19 and it was incredibly popular when I was in elementary school, the movies were still coming out and I fondly remember reading all of the books.

@PopulismUpdates Show set in the depression about a sympathetic Soviet spy protagonist running for office and being elected, feel like there’s something there.

@EDRMesa erm actually Bernie Sanders would lead the center-left in America and all non Berniecrat Democrats are right of center in Europe.

@PopulismUpdates This was my take on if the US had the exact same parties as the Netherlands. imo, the hard-right and center-left would be stronger, probably a really strong rural center-right party and several personality driven parties if it was less direct imo.

@VoidOfRoses In Germany football clubs are required by law to be 51% member owned, Barça is membership owned too I think, would be a good model to replicate imo. But the largest (& most popular) local industries effecting politics in a self-serving way seems kinda intrinsic to democracy.

@erich_luepke @ET_Californian Brazilians in Miami who moved there recently are mostly upper class, and upper-class Brazilians tend towards the right wing. The same goes for other ethnicities with rich & recent immigrants to Miami, like Miami Colombians going for Fico, Miami French going for Zemmour, etc.

@ettingermentum Cameron & Tories used the EU as a scapegoat for policy failures, turning most right wing voters against it, while Corbyn didn’t want to take credit for any New Labour policies, including their europhilia, so was basically agnostic. This left no popular leaders in favor of Remain.

@stuppledup @gavinbena They wanted to nominate TR once more and he refused but their ticket stayed on the ballot in some states. Also, in many states people still voted for the Electoral College directly, so that explains the large number of votes that ticket got despite not having a candidate.
