I agree with the salary increase for New York State Education Commissioner Betty Rosa. Her key role in improving education quality and access, as well as the challenges within the state’s education system, positively justifies this salary increase.

Las bendiciones llegan a quienes trabajan duro y nunca dejan de soñar en grande. Quiero agradecer de todo corazón al Senador Estatal de Nueva York por este reconocimiento especial en el marco del Mes de la Herencia Dominicana. Este honor no solo me llena de orgullo, sino que también refleja el esfuerzo y los aportes de toda nuestra comunidad dominicana, que sigue dejando su huella en Nueva York y más allá. Este tipo de reconocimientos, especialmente para alguien joven y atípico como yo, que ha tomado un camino fuera de lo convencional, tienen un valor especial. Que venga de un senador del Partido Demócrata, alguien que reconoce el trabajo y el talento más allá de las diferencias políticas, es algo que merece ser aplaudido. Es un gesto que habla de justicia y mérito, y eso lo valoro profundamente. Ser destacado por mi trayectoria como empresario y por lo que hemos construido con Alofoke Media Group es un privilegio que me recuerda que todo esfuerzo vale la pena. Este reconocimiento no es solo mío, es de todos los dominicanos que, con sacrificio y perseverancia, están abriendo caminos y construyendo un futuro mejor. Ayer domingo, asistí a la misa organizada por el @rden_ny y el comité Arquidiocesano de la Altagracia, en honor al 52 aniversario de Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia en la Catedral de San Patricio en Manhattan. Agradezco al cónsul Jesús Vásquez Martínez por la invitación, ya que esta es la festividad religiosa más importante de República Dominicana. 🙏🏼🇩🇴

It is with deep sorrow and outrage that I address the tragic death of Robert Brooks, who was killed at the hands of correctional officers while in custody. This senseless loss of life is a reminder that we must do more to ensure that those in our care are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their circumstances. The actions of those responsible cannot be justified, and they have to be hold accountable for this senseless tragedy. My thoughts and condolences are with Mr. Brooks' family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Their grief is unimaginable, and they deserve answers, justice, and a commitment to prevent such a tragedy from occurring again. I commend Governor Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James for their swift and decisive actions in calling for an independent investigation. Their leadership is crucial in ensuring transparency and accountability, and I stand with them in demanding justice for Robert Brooks and his family.
