Everyone talks about how beautiful it is to have a newborn at the holidays, which it is. What they don’t talk about is how awful it feels to be battling ppd and being deep in the trenches. This holiday season has been so rough for me and I feel like I’m failing my other kids too

Damnit. I feel the PPD creeping up on me and I was so hopeful that I would just skip over that this time 🥴 of course not.

My mom leaves tomorrow after being with us the last three weeks and I am so sad 😢

Call me a wizard but I have the baby sleeping and both of the bigger kids laying down watching tv. I have laundry started. I’m sippin my coffee and watching some tv. I think maybe I’m adjusting to being a mom of 3?

My kids chose to stay in their pjs, have homemade lunch, and watch Star Wars over going out to eat and I just love them for it 🥹
