How is any of this acceptable- where is the duty of care? Made to feel like a nuisance for asking for water and food after 24 hours.

This is exactly what they did to Zak. I sat there and witnessed two staff members arguing with a disabled 8 year old about a pencil. He wanted to write with red and black one. They refused and made him use the standard yellow and black one. They write exactly the same!!!
Schools please don’t be the kind of place that gives a detention to an ADHD Autistic kid because they turn up with a green writing pen instead of a black one 🤦🏼♀️ it is NOT a good look in this day & age! 🙄🤦🏼♀️

They were astounded by his self taught knowledge. He was up there with experienced staff of 30 years, some with PHD’s. They all noted how held his own and they loved him for challenging them too. Lots
