Zebra crossings. In most countries when a pedestrian is waiting to cross cars notice and stop by themselves. In Thailand cars often speed up and the pedestrian has to risk their life. I can only conclude it’s an education problem, thai drivers just don’t know. #หมอกระต่าย

(Backstory) P’Ann lost her husband in 2004, then in 2006 was kicked out by her landlord. The house we rented had a shoebox maids room which wasn’t used so we offered and she moved in. When we built a house in BKK in 2010 we added a decent sized room for her. We became family :)

Day 5 - so far EV has been amazing. Laughs at even the steepest hills without breaking a sweat. No gear changes or turbo needed. Feels like it’s glued to road. Not used more than 20% battery in a day. Recharges to full over night using regular 10a socket.

Last month we started building her a small house (replacing a couple of dilapidated huts). I had hoped to have it finished by her birthday but the weather has been crappy slowing construction. It will hopefully be finished in a few weeks. (I’ll post more photo when it’s done)

Inflation in Thailand is looking ugly. Add to this the baht weakening against the dollar and the government burning money trying to keep diesel fuel price low and high consumer debt and its only going to get worse.

I love this so much. It’s Thailand in a nutshell. Design a revolving gate that should is mostly to keep people only going one way but make it square rather than round so you can still go the other way. More of a suggestion than a fixed rule.
