Hearing more info from my sources. Looks like it's a done deal between Falcom & XSEED for the Sky Remake. We'll hear about this officially around the shareholder's meeting in December. Should the remake do well, SC and 3rd Remakes will follow in short order

Keep posting about Astro Bot and Sly Cooper. While they have a Sly game in development, it'll get prioritized more if we make a push for it!
I bet all the studios that told Team Asobi no to putting their characters in Astro Bot are kicking themselves right now.
Immediately after I saw Sly Cooper in the game, I went on the PlayStation store and bought this. I guarantee I’m not the only person doing this either.

they will happen no matter what though. It's just a matter of them being prioritized or not based off how well 1st's remake does. When those release XSEED will localize them. Expect Kai no Kiseki localization from NISA to be announced sometime soon as Falcom still have a good

For the publisher it’s not because Falcom is trying to branch out. It’s a dispute between if XSEED or NISA will publish. It’s also going to release same day on other platforms it’s just a case of Falcom being unable to do so at present because of a deal with Nintendo

Working on my review for Astro Bot. This game is GREAT. If you marginally like platformers, you will like it. If you love gaming history then this game is made for you. If you own a PS5 just buy it, you won't be disappointed

Also Toys for Bob are presently working on a Spyro game. That was reported on by Canadian Guy Eh who has super reliable sources and has been right on many things before even when he has no direct source! So I’m apt to believe him here.

Crash 4 also sold 5m units which is exceptionally good for any platformer in this day and age that is not Mario or connected to Nintendo in any way. Activision has also been on record saying Crash and Spyro are core / pillar franchises.

we know TGS is happening soon. Here's what I'm hearing regarding some Falcom stuff, this is from the same source who has given me info on Twisted Metal and the Sly Cooper reboots. Western release date for Kai no Kiseki in late 2025 / early 26. No name for the localization yet

Because of the pandemic and other reasons, Crash Team Rumble, formerly Wumpa League had a troubled development which put other projects on hold. We were probably supposed to get Rumble in 2021 or 2022 with support through 2023 into early 2024.

Which has been backed up by their actions! Between 2017-2023 we’ve had: The N. Sane Trilogy, Crash Team Racing, Crash 4 and Crash Team Rumble and of course The Reignited Trilogy. So Crash has been given a lot of releases in a very short order. Spyro less so.

With a new Spyro game it should have entered full development when Rumble ended development. Meaning it should have come out in late 2022 to early 2024 depending on how smoothly development went. Obviously that wasn’t the case and TFB was temporarily closed and later granted

People need to realize smaller more focused experiences are generally better than long bloated games with too large a budget to easily be profitable. Either go for something short and enjoyable or go for something long and enjoyable like a JRPG!
Have people seriously forgotten when 15 hour full price games were the norm. Why does everything need to be at least like 50 hours to justify a full price game.

Twisted Metal will be announced at the upcoming PlayStation showcase this year and will launch on both PS5 and PC at the same time with full cross play. It’ll launch late 2025 / early 26. As far as Sly Cooper I’ve heard it’s now in full development with a new internal studio

I love how Trails into Reverie's credits show off photographs of the characters in various situations. Framing it as Lapis' scrap book of her journey. It's a lovely framing device and it really does show off how fucking gorgeous the brand new engine is.
