🌍 Exciting Opportunities at LISER and LIS! LISER and the @lisdata (LIS) are proud to announce the third call for two research initiatives: This year a particular attention will be given to the policies dealing with old-age and pensions and their impact on inequality and labour market outcomes. 🔹 Senior Fellowship at LIS and LISER A 3 to 6-month residency for senior researchers at the Belval Campus in Luxembourg. -Exclusive access to LIS and LWS microdata in a secure data lab. -Engage with LIS, LISER, and University of Luxembourg researchers. -Senior Fellows will be hosted within a research department at LISER. 🔹 Research Stays at LIS and LISER Shorter visits tailored for research collaboration and data utilization. -Exclusive access to LIS and LWS microdata in a secure data lab. -Engage with LIS, LISER, and University of Luxembourg researchers. -Research proposals can be submitted by individual researchers or by small teams of up to three researchers. -Visitors will be hosted on LIS or LISER premises. 📅 Application Deadline: January 31, 2025 Notification of Decision: February 15, 2025 Earliest Start Date: March 1, 2025 For complete details on this 3rd call and application guidelines: ▶️ Senior Fellowship: ▶️ Research Stays: 📧 For inquiries: lis2er@lisdatacenter.org

🏆 Within the framework of its CORE programme, the @FnrLux has funded three LISER projects. 💪 These CORE projects were selected based on their innovativeness, high scientific quality and will be peer reviewed by international reviewers. The 3 awarded projects are the following: ✔️ HypeRent lead by Constance Uyttebrouck will investigate ‘hyper-commodified housing products’ (HCHPs) and contribute to understanding how and why these new #housing forms are developed and supported. ✔️ POLHOUSING lead by Guillaume Bérard will investigate the impact of housing policies in #France and #Luxembourg, focusing on tax-based interventions designed to address #housingmarket challenges such as rising prices, shortages, and vacancies. ✔️ TechnoD lead by Massimo Morelli will investigate how artificial intelligence (#AI) contributes to discrimination in hiring practices, particularly along ethnic, linguistic, and gender lines. 🔎 Learn more about the projects:
