President @realDonaldTrump's Executive Order: The @PresidencyZA of South Africa and #ANC leaders should take full responsibility for the negative consequences of their own irresponsible policies and behavior—not @afriforum or @elonmusk. They have prioritised the ANC’s anti-Western ideology and disregard for property rights over the interests of South African citizens. Ramaphosa’s signing of the BELA Act and the Expropriation Act was the last straw.

Die president en sy regering se besluit om Afrikaanse skole en -kinders te teiken, was ’n daad van aggressie wat Afrikaanse kultuurgemeenskappe se voortbestaan bedreig. .@realDonaldTrump's executive order re the position of Afrikaners in South Africa: AfriForum, as the largest civil rights organisastion in South Africa, expressed its great appreciation for President Trump and the US’s recognition of the injustice to which Afrikaners are subjected in South Africa. The executive order is a direct result of President Cyril Ramaphosa and his government’s irresponsible actions and policies such as the Expropriation Act that threatens property rights, the Bela Act that is aimed at destroying Afrikaans schools and the SA government's anti-western foreign policy. AfriForum remains committed to Afrikaners’ future at the southern tip of Africa and insist that urgent solutions must therefore be found for the injustices committed by the South African government against Afrikaners and other cultural communities in the country. The @PresidencyZA and the -#ANC will once again falsely blame @afriforum for this in an effort to evade taking responsibility for the negative consequences of their own irresponsible policies and behaviour. Ramaphosa and the ANC are directly responsible for this by putting their own interests and ideology above the interests of South Africa’s citizens. To remedy the situation, urgent amendments to the Expropriation Act and the BELA Act are needed.

The @PresidencyZA and the ANC need to get their act together. They are placing their own ideology and personal interests above the interests of South Africa and its people. That is an act of disloyalty. @afriforum is loyal to all our country’s citizens and therefore opposes the government’s destructive behavior.
