The Western Balkans are part of the European family. Our security is inseparable. Our cooperation is essential. Today in Rome, I underlined this shared security perspective and our hope for real progress in the next five years on EU enlargement, based on progress with reforms.

Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia will permanently disconnect from Russia’s power grid tomorrow. Russia can no longer use energy as a tool of blackmail. This is a victory for freedom and European unity.

Shocked and deeply saddened by the shooting in Örebro, Sweden. Schools should be safe spaces for learning, not places of violence. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all affected. We stand united with Sweden in this dark moment.
