Good meeting with @MorganOrtagus, President Trump's deputy special envoy to the Middle East, who had just come from Lebanon. We were briefed by Major General Jasper Jeffers on the situation in Lebanon and discussed it and other regional issues. Following Israel’s achievements against Hezbolla there is an opportunity for a better future in Lebanon, and maybe even for better relations between our countries. Under President Trump's leadership and Israel's strength we are committed to working closely together to build a better future in the region. 🇮🇱🇺🇸

For over a year, the entire international community has danced to the tune of the false propaganda of so-called ‘starvation’ in Gaza. But the images don’t lie: Hamas terrorists and other Gaza residents look perfectly fine. The Israeli hostages look like Holocaust survivors and they are the only ones in the pictures who clearly appear to have suffered from starvation. Hamas has committed crimes against humanity against civilian hostages. This Hamas-Nazi evil must be eradicated!

אני מברך על הודעת ידידי פיטר סיירטו, שר החוץ של הונגריה, לפיה הונגריה שוקלת את שיתוף הפעולה שלה עם ״בית הדין״ הפלילי הבינ״ל בהאג (ICC). כפי שאמרתי בביקורי בבודפשט לפני שבועיים: הונגריה היא מדינה היודעת להבדיל בין טוב לרע. עמדתה הברורה והמוסרית של הונגריה מבוססת על עקרונות של צדק וריבונות.

אני מברך על הצו הנשיאותי של הנשיא טראמפ להטלת סנקציות על הגוף שמתקרא "בית הדין הפלילי הבינלאומי". ה-ICC רודף באופן אובססיבי את ישראל, הדמוקרטיה היחידה במזרח התיכון, ומנהיגיה. ה-ICC פועל ללא סמכות שיפוט מפני שישראל וארה"ב אינן חתומות על אמנת רומא ואינן חברות ב-ICC. ישראל וארה״ב הן דמוקרטיות משגשגות עם צבאות שמקפידים על החוק הבינלאומי. פעולות ״בית הדין״ אינן מוסריות ואין להן בסיס חוקי. ה-ICC אינו פועל בהתאם למשפט הבינלאומי. הוא פוגע וחותר תחת המשפט הבינלאומי! 🇮🇱🇺🇸

I strongly commend @POTUS President Trump's executive order imposing sanctions on the so-called "international criminal court". The ICC aggressively pursues the elected leaders of Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East. The ICC has no jurisdiction - Israel and the U.S. are not parties to the Rome Statute and are not members of the ICC. They are thriving democracies with militaries strictly adhering to international law. The ICC's actions are immoral and have no legal basis. The ICC does not abide by international law. It undermines international law! 🇮🇱🇺🇸

I informed the UNHRC that Israel will no longer participate in it. The "human rights" council has consistently enabled countries that abuse human rights to evade scrutiny, while obsessively pursuing Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East. Joining @POTUS President Trump's just decision, Israel will no longer tolerate the Council's blatant antisemitism. Enough is enough!

Israel welcomes President Trump’s decision not to participate in the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Israel joins the United States and will not participate in the UNHRC. The UNHRC has traditionally protected human rights abusers by allowing them to hide from scrutiny, and instead obsessively demonizes the one democracy in the Middle East - Israel. This body has focused on attacking a democratic country and propagating antisemitism, instead of promoting human rights. The discrimination against us is clear: In the UNHRC, Israel is the only country with an agenda item dedicated solely to it. Israel has been subjected to over 100 condemnatory resolutions, over 20% of all resolutions ever passed in the Council - more than against Iran, Cuba, North Korea and Venezuela combined. Israel will not accept this discrimination any longer!
