The SFO wye is a drag on reliable rapid transit operation. With an infill station and a short Airtrain extension, we could fix the BART service pattern, improve access from the Peninsula to the airport, and establish cross-platform BART/Caltrain transfers.

Today I learned that SFO Terminal 3 has a box for a BART station that was built into it 1972, but it was deliberately blocked in the 80s to prevent its use. The current BART station was then built just outside the new International Terminal, farther away from the other terminals.

@sfmta_muni Yikes. How about blocking entrances to Mason St to cars so the 30 Stockton can flow freely until traffic dissipates?

@Bob_Wachter @nytimes Once again they use a public transit photo as a scary COVID article's header. @SFBART is one of the few places in the country requiring masks, has installed upgraded filters, and cycles air every 70 seconds. If all indoor spaces were like BART we wouldn't be in this crisis.

I stopped speaking to Ethan when he continued to pry for information about Ren. I've been disgusted by what Ethan did since I heard about it shortly afterward, and I'm glad that Ren has spoken out for their peace and to prevent this too from being swept under the rug. (3/3)
