So someone I respected blocked me because I disagreed with her. I was reasonable. Respectful. I suggested I did not want to take sides in an argument she had with another writer. So she attacked my professionalism & blocked me.

People (I’ll assume it’s an American?) just are not taught/expected to think and critically think, which leads to issues of closed-mindedness and rigid thinking.

The middle ground is a hard place to live sometimes. Think no mans land in WWI. And recently in the US it’s only gotten worse.
