This Hemicorallium colony, a genus of pink #corals belonging to the family #Coralliidae, was spotted by our #CorpsofExploration in the Central Pacific with a #basketstar, #Gorgonocephalidae on top, which relies on passing currents for food like small crustaceans and plankton.
