Easton's offensive career catapulted from 2018 to 2019. Rhodes hit .322 with 23 RBIs in 2018. The following year, "E" hit .430 with 23 RBIs - his 46 hits in 2019 led the team. A non-traditional lead-off hitter, drawing only 9 walks, "E" still had a .483 OB%.

In Easton's 3+ years with the program, he compiled 75 career hits. "E" finished his career with a .385 batting average. Easton capped off his career with a 4-hit game versus state-ranked Penn last May. Thank you "E" for all of your contributions to the DeKalb Baseball Program.

In the 1st segment of our senior spotlight, DeKalb Baseball would like to honor Trey Novak. Trey was a valuable member of the program for 3+ years and was in line to have his most productive year yet. More on Trey and his career statistics in tomorrow's episode.

Tyler was a First-Team All NE8 selection in 2019 with a very promising 2020. Stahl compiled 67 hits over 3 years and had a career batting average of .379. Tyler ended his high school career with 4 home runs, 42 RBIs, and 53 runs scored in just 3 seasons.

Tyler Stahl contributed 3+ years to the DeKalb baseball program in which his 5-tool ability was on full display. Tyler's outfield defense would have earned him a Gold Glove Award - Stahl had 67 career put outs and 8 outfield assists while committing just one error.

In Trey Novak's 3+ years in the program, he compiled a .280 career batting average with an OB% of .456. Trey had a knack for getting hit by a pitch-10 times in 2019. Trey scored 19 runs and had 18 RBIs for his career. More on Trey and his defensive prowess tomorrow.

Nate Turnbull's 3+ years in the DeKalb Baseball Program saw him emerge as a crafty pitcher. In Nate's sophomore year, he posted a 2-1 record on the mound with one save. He also struck out 14 batters in just 6 innings of work.

Nate Turnbull had a flair for the dramatic in 2019. Turnbull saved one of his best at-bats of the season for the sectional semi-final game. Nate's home run to deep right-center field helped propel DeKalb to a victory.

Tyler's talents extended to the pitching mound as well. Tyler had a career record of 8-3 with a 3.36 ERA. Stahl pitched 89 1/3 innings over his career while striking out 133 batters. Stahl will continue his career at Indiana Tech. DeKalb Baseball extends a heartfelt thank you.
