Must-read on Al Fayed by then Vanity Fair editor: brave women came forward in the 90s, the magazine had formidable evidence of his abuse, but settled the libel case after Diana and Dodi died. Fayed carried on for years after that, and reaped popularity through Fulham FC.
This is me on the ‘97 Vanity Fair case against Fayed - what we knew, why we had to settle and what happened to our extensive evidence of his criminality. Remorseless, ruthless, racist’ Mohamed Al Fayed | The Guardian
