Remote work is overrated. There is real value in waking up and going to your work place. Social connections and workplace productivity go up when you are physically surrounded by people.

Hungary is a lovely, ethnically homogenous White European country with a fine culture. It is fine for conservatives to admire this, while also realizing how unrealistic of a model they are for the U.S.
The U.S. has more in common with Mexico than Hungary.
This is as stupid and provincial as a Hungarian saying “The US sucks because of gun crime, parking requirements that make you build ugly exurbs, and Title VII influenced speech codes that militate toward firing people for conservative speech.”

A livable wage would probably be 20 dollars an hour. There’s not way that can happen. The minimum wage isn’t designed to make you rich, folks. If you want better pay, obtain better skills.
What the hell is a “livable wage”? One that allows us to eat out regularly, wear designer clothes, $200 Nikes and have $1000 smart phones? The operative word in “minimum wage” is MINIMUM. Why aim for the MINIMUM? Shouldn’t the goal be acquiring SKILLS that pay MORE?
