@kairyssdal Have you written about your time as a FSO? Would be interested in learning about your experience there. Last summer I researched joining, the requirements, & took the practice exam just to see what it’s like. Didn’t proceed from there, but the idea remains in the back of my mind

I was fortunate enough to be in the B heat that night, so we were warming up & doing strides on the backstretch as sub-27 happened. It was the most amazing sporting experience I’ve witnessed in person. But once it was over I had to race 25 laps on the track so that wasn’t great.
Today is the 10-year anniversary of @ChrisSolinsky breaking the American record in the 10,000 meters in 26:59 – the first non-African under 27 minutes. Recently sat down to talk to him about that race and his whole career in retrospect.

My mom taught me how to knit over the holidays and I'm working on my first sweater. I'm using thread that's made from recycled blue jeans, which I thought was pretty neat.
