I remember a few message board members who gave me a hard time back in 1997 because they didn't think that would be around long because so many sites were here one day and gone the next. On October 15th the site will be 26 years old!

Not gonna bash UT. They are what they are at this point. However, I will say that teams need to start looking to sign football players, not just guys who look good or have great 40 times, but football PLAYERS. Those of you who really know the game know what I am talking about.

There were some very good games tonight but Henry County vs Page was a great one...Page winning 56-52 with a last-minute TD. Page vs Powell at 7PM on Friday in Chattanooga for the 5A state championship.

Schiano fiasco could be a recruiting blessing. Now maybe TN will have to recruit TN athletes who are football players who love the Vols versus "great athletes" from other states, athletes that may or may not be football players and may never bleed orange.

MLB Network needs to change their blackout rules. I live in Tennessee, 290 miles from Atlanta and 358 miles from Cincinnati- 4 1/2 and 5 hour drives...and both are blacked out. If I want to go to a game, I will. But, I would also like to watch the Braves and/or the Reds. Time to
