R.I.P. Boo (2007-2020). He was more than a pet, but a member of the family, lost to cancer. 13 years ago, my wife adopted him and had an emotional bond with that can't be replaced. Ever since then, he's been a great fun-loving cat, until his final day, yesterday. He'll be missed.

R.I.P. YETI (2008-2024) She was the most affectionate cat I ever had. We had her since she was a kitten. She had a full life, almost 16 years. The past year was difficult. Many vet visits, many treatments. But now the fight is over. Like her brother Boo, we’ll miss her so much.

Roughly 15 years ago, I reviewed Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest which became AVGN: Episode 1. If you’d like to know the exact date, I checked the script. It seems the script began May 30, but there’s no way to know when the actual video was completed.

So sad to hear Carl Weathers passed away. I'll always know him best as Apollo Creed, one of the greatest film antagonists turned ally and friend. A real, genuine and complex role never matched. And then there's everything from Predator to Mandalorian. He will be missed.

It was a fun challenge to match the AVGN shots from 2008. Same Mini DV camera. Same microphones. Same props. Felt like a time warp. I don't miss capturing Mini DV tape though. What a technical nightmare getting that to work again. But worth it. Hope you enjoyed the episode!
