Toru Takemitsu’s “From Me Flows What You Call Time,” a Carnegie Hall centennial commission. Ozawa was artistic director of our JapanNYC festival, and his final appearances here were part of that celebration, conducting the Saito Kinen Orchestra in three performances in 2010.
