@CKikila Encouraging people to vote the way you want them to is protected by the first amendment. He can’t be prosecuted for that. If there’s proof he’s willingly violating sanctions or the Logan Act, he could be prosecuted. But no one’s ever been convicted for violating the Logan Act.

@CKikila This feels a lot like the Sudetenland crisis in 1938. Small countries being told to give up territory for "peace in our times". But this country is the largest in territory in Europe after Russia and is in the Black Sea, which is important for containing Russian expansionism.
