Using ES/iPS cells, Kitagawa comprehensively analyzed the transcriptional and epigenetic landscape regulation in the differentiation process towards hematopoietic progenitor cells and identified novel factors required for hematopoietic differentiation. 🧫
Prof. Megumu K. Saito's team examined the dynamic transcriptional and epigenetic landscape during definitive hematopoiesis and revealed the non-redundant roles of ZEB2 and MEIS1 vital to producing hematopoietic stem cells from the hemogenic endothelium. 🔗
