~0.02% of those arrested by Border Patrol possessed any fentanyl at all
Reporter: "Most fentanyl comes across the border from people who are US citizens, not immigrants."

No matter where it was tried, communism has always resulted in mountains of dead bodies. As for socialist economics, it has always resulted in shortages, inefficiency, poverty, and desperation.
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg wants to make the United States the “global leader” in high‐speed rail. That’s like wanting to be the world leader in electric typewriters, rotary telephones, or steam locomotives.

Harriet Tubman fought enormous injustice and promoted human liberty. She exhibited courage in fighting and breaking unjust laws, and took the lead in putting her views into action. She deserves to be on the $20 bill.

On this day in history, 170 years ago today, Harriet Tubman escaped slavery. Not content with merely liberating herself, Tubman is reported to have gone back to the Confederacy 19 times, risking capture as she "conducted" some 300 slaves to freedom.
86.3% of fentanyl trafficking convictions were of U.S. citizens, not illegal immigrants.
If it were easier to transport fentanyl by crossing illegally, U.S. citizens wouldn’t be hired for smuggling jobs
Should police should have the right to force children to masturbate in front of them so they can take photos? What if it's part of a legal investigation?
This is in keeping with the larger trend: immigrants—regardless of their legal status—are less likely to commit crimes than native‐ born Americans

It shouldn’t need to be said, but the Confederacy didn’t stand for opposing federal overreach or eliminating handouts to big business—it stood for slavery.
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of David Boaz.
David played an indispensable role in the development of the Cato Institute and was a foundational figure of modern libertarian thought.
His contributions to the Cato Institute and to libertarianism are far too vast

No, capitalism is not "a coercive economic system that creates persistent patterns of economic deprivation." It's a system of voluntary exchange that has led to the greatest reduction in poverty the world has ever seen.
92% of Americans think the share of the world population in poverty has increased or stayed the same over the last two decades. Of those who realize poverty has declined, most underestimate the extent. In fact, global poverty halved over the past 20 years.

How is it possible that so many people are unaware of the extraordinary and unprecedented decline in world poverty that has been achieved in the last twenty years?

The claim that Denmark is somehow proof that a gentler socialism is preferable to free-market capitalism simply doesn't hold water. Denmark has quite a free-market economy, apart from its welfare state transfers and high government consumption.
