We welcome the UK’s new national climate plan. C40 looks forward to working with the UK and other international climate leaders to deliver ambitious and inclusive national climate plans that keep equity and justice at the forefront. Cities, devolved administrations and national governments working together is the best way to deliver strong emission reduction targets, and secure the goals of the Paris Agreement - this is the essence of the CHAMP pledge which the UK has endorsed.
