It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved retired mascot, Butler Blue III, aka “Trip,” at the age of 12 after a brief illness. Trip’s jersey and portrait will be displayed in Atherton Union from Monday, April 8, through Sunday, April 14.

We've been lucky to work with Michael for more than 19 years, watching him epitomize what it means to be a Butler Bulldog. His departure is a significant loss for Butler, but an amazing opportunity for Michael and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
I am excited to share that I’ve accepted a position as head of marketing for @IMS. It was an emotionally difficult decision to leave @butleru after 19 years, but also an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I’m fortunate to go from one dream job to next, across organizations I love.
