25 years ago today OCS released “The Riverboat Song” it was the first single from the bands second coming as it were. It’s in 6/8 timing which makes the track almost “skip” along.
The song is one of Britpop’s most famous due to its weekly use on TFI Friday.

It doesn't paint Primal Scream in a very good light which surprised me because Bobby Gillespie is such a keen socialist/Corbynite.
